TB is boring, there is only ONE build that works fine (any other build is useless) : 14 AP spammer with 10 PE an earlier sequence. Build is simple, can have 3 lifegivers easely and completely OP in TB while not that useless in RT if you use gatling.
If you are 285 HP tank => pray for the guy to crit miss, if not => death
It's only cuz of 1AP shots. After 2AP-shot-cap it will be fun again. :)

P.S. And yes, it's kind of bullshit when I am 285HP, 75% DR tank in HPA and guy just spams me with laser (!) rifle and he has to miss twice for me to stay alive...

I'm fine with 7 shots a round, but I don't like that we're going to have a 2 AP min. I'd rather a hard coded 7 shot per round max instead of a 2 AP min. Same thing for all you RT players a world of difference for a TB player like me I say.

Guy with two action boys and Jet would shoot 7 times and so the one with shity 4 agility and -AP pistol would do. Bullshit detected!

Not what I had in mind, who gets less than 10 Agility anyhow? Also a 4 agility spammer would be welcome to all you RT Pk'ers >.>
Still raging about TB traps even when that gets removed entirely you complain about the damage TB players can deal.

I just hate how this will just destroy the fast shot trait. Why take it when the bonus is just you can't aim now.

Entire thread on general discussion.

Although this entire issue could just be ignored by me if the fast shot trait or -1AP bonueses were removed from the game. Useless is useless after all just like the reserved stats.

Does 4 AG character really sounds familiar with "spammer" word?

+5 flat dmg bonus is the only reason why most of us take it really.

In all honestly I don't know much about in depth game mechanics/Coding ect. Wiki layout on some things doesn't help much either. Still its nice to learn about these thing through various ways.

I'm all for restrictions on the current 1AP guns just not a universal 2AP minimum.

I always assumed that the 5 damage bonus doesn't apply to anything that didn't previously do aimed shots. Most Vet players don't single shot ever or use weapons that never used aimed shots.

Except snipers but then again they didn't take fast shot probably.

Fast shot gives flat +5 damage/attack (single or burst), wich is nice for spammers.
But for high luck bursters it's stupid to take it, because  you can be very efficient with single shots in eyes.
LSW can turn into a midrange sniper rifle (same ammo,same ammo, same AP cost, -5 hexrange, almost same damage)
If you taged EW you will be able to use turboplasma rifle (awesome weapon)
If you taged SG you will be able to use 223 pistol
I have an avenger build, but I killed more ppl in PVP with 223 pistol.

This thread is not about min AP cost, we discussed it earlier.

To end the talk about TB traps.
To give easy play for those who like turn-based battles
I suggest the following:
1. if there is a player on location there can NEVER Fail
2. location if there is a player ALWAYS shows dialog asking enter.

That's all. Meaning turn-based traps disappears. Turn-based battles will be carried out only by those who are interested in them.
Builds for turn-based risk of running battles on a real-time battle and die.
Real time builds can not worry about falling into the trap

Should be like that after next update.
