Bozia dała nam slaversów by do nich strzelać. Bonus do reputacji prawie dla wszystkich frakcji, a ustrzelić ich łatwo (mają 10mm SMG, bez zbroi, albo shotgu/eagle +LA). Do agresywnych niewolników też można postrzelać -niewolnik czy łowca niewolników? Ja tam nie wiem, wiem tylko że zamieszany w niewolnictwo.

The chance of a critical hit depends on where're you aiming:

Let's say you made a critical hit, the game will roll a d100 dice (a dice with 100 faces - in pen'n'paper we use 2x d10, that's two ten sided dice) to determine the effect of the critical hit. I don't suppose the server has some sort of analog, dice-rolling machine, so it's just a (pseudo-)random number from 0 to 99 (or 1 to 100?). Let's just call it a "roll".

If you have "Better Criticals" you add +20 to that roll, +25 if you have "HtH Criticals" (but I don't think they stack) and/or +10 if it was a "Silent Death" critical any "+Critical Power" mods of your weapon. "-Critical Power" mods of your targets armor and perks like "Man of Steel" that he/she has will lower the roll.

If after all the mods your role is:
0-20 - look at "Roll 0" in the tables
21-40 - look at "Roll 1" in the tables
41-60 - look at "Roll 2" in the tables
61-80 - look at "Roll 3" in the tables
81-100- look at "Roll 4" in the tables
101+  look at "Roll 5" in the tables

So let's say we were aiming for the head, and rolled 85 - there we have "x3, Bypass armor, Knockdown, Knockout (LK+2)". The hit target will be hit for 3x damage, his armor will be ignored (DT=0, DR=0%), he will be knockdown and if he fails a Luck +2 test he will be knocked-out.

What's a Luck+2 test? Well, you take a random number from 1 to 10 and if it's higher then the targets Luck+2, then the test is failed.

This is the critical hit table vs "Men" a think it looks the same for "Women" and it's not much different for ghuls and supermutants. 



Maybe I'll do the rest, if I'm not to lazy that is. Time will tell.

Nah, looks like my favorite hosting site also went to hell... You need to uncheck the "download with manager" to get a link to the normal zip file.

Maybe high science should raise the chance of getting better resources? Say if you dismantle a Assault Rifle with 100+ science, you'll have a bigger chance to get High Quality Alloys and Good Metal Parts instead of Wood.

How about this:

chance_to_encounter_player *=5/(5+abs(my_level- encountered_pc_level))

If you don't understand the formula:
-a encounter between a lv1 and a lv 30 player would be about 15% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv5 and a lv 30 player would be about 17% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv10 and a lv 30 player would be about 20% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv15 and a lv 30 player would be about 25% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv20 and a lv 30 player would be about 33% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv25 and a lv 30 player would be about 50% of what is now
-a encounter between a lv30 and a lv 30 player would be about 100% of what is now

It could be caped at lv24 and still produce nice results (with a hyperbolic-like curve).

1. I'll arsk again: What's the formula for stealing?

I was mugged in in broad daylight, while facing the thief, with some guards in sight (in a 'safe' town), having 10 perception. The thief took 3 items in one go (each at about 4-5kg) in about one second (that's some fast clicking!). He was not spotted, and shooting him got me killed by the law enforcements.

Is this one lucky Son of a Mother, or if someone is dedicated to stealing (has the skill maxed and all the perks) then he can take your items and there's nothing you can do about it (except to run)?     

2.   How does 'Mr. Fixit' perk influence repairing?

3. You don't get 'weakened' after respawning nor with failed FA attempts... so is there any use at all for the perk 'Blessed Are the Weak' ?

4. Does 'Hit the Gaps' stack with 'Right between the Eyes' or 'HtH Criticals' with 'Better Criticals'?


5. Does the bonus rep from Sex Appeal count when getting access to the Gunrunners adv. workbench (so you only need to keep your base rep. with them at 250+)?

I have a fastshot, energy weapon user at level 17 now and it works. A laser pistol has more range and firepower then any other comparable pistol... well, not against metal armor, but it's still good for TB. For RT shooting is just too slow and no good for sniping cause it gives away your location. 

SEC are easy to buy, I have a stash of about 2k in my tents and could easy double that. Easy to buy, hard(-ish) to make. MFC... well that's another story. If you say getting electronic  parts is hard then you know nothing about mining and refining uranium.  Hard to buy, hard to make.

The secret (well not anymore) way to get electronic parts and risk nothing is... craft some junk, sell it for energy weapons and disassemble  :P

Having said that... at low levels (under 15?) a combat shotgun will perform way better in most PvE situations (its range is the flaw) and if it doesn't ... you can always craft 5 more shotguns in 15 minutes after you respawn.

The metal part is a bad example. Mines are safe, ore respawns almost instantly, it weights little, you can mine till you exceed your carry weight 2x.
Metal parts are practically free  in unlimited numbers, same for alloys.
What's wrong is that it is easier to make a metal armor then a leather armor (not even talking about mk2).
For a metal armor you need to find and kill just one brahmin - for a leather armor 5 golden geckos and get a perk from a unguarded town. That's just wrong.

The rest is ok.
I myself would suggest looking into shop. Most are full of stuff, it takes 20 seconds just to scroll down the list, some items can't be sold (like the m60) and some shops don't seem to buy anything. I was in S.Francisco and all that I could sell where SEC (I had metal armors, laser pistols, all sort of ammo, plasma 'nades, some drugs and some random 'schmeltz')
