I wanna know how to discharge, and what it does to people.
Does it have special effects against armored and unarmored people?
What is the range of discharge, and does it do discharges in increments or all 500 at once

I tied it to alt+D, by opening cfg in notepad. I tried to discharge it while it was 50, 100, and 150 but doesn't worked still. I'm afraid it works only with 250 or even only with full 500 charges. How it works and how high is damage? I don't really know.

I have only seen it in action once or twice, someone was blasting us through walls with it, the damage was average, but it is an area effect, and from memory it revealed me from stealth too.

In one situation I believe someone used it against us along with explosives to a very high degree of success in confined quarters. But since those couple of occasions I haven't seen it used much personally.

It works very well - I've just tested it and I can discharge even a one load of 50 smc = 100 units of tesla armor charge = 1 discharge shot (tesla armor dont must to be fully charged). I've binded it like this:

Discharge=Alt Ctrl D

in FOnline2238.cfg

For 6 discharges i had random damage ~57 - 107 (electric damage?) for unarmored target with tank perks. Radius of discharge shot is 7 hex.

EDIT: it uses 5 ap to discharge with BRoF or without that perk

1) just use Trap skill on armor and then charge it like motion sensor by picking sec or mfc (50 sec = 100 units tesla charge, 50 mfc = 250 units tesla charge)

and the last thing: when you have only 50/500 tesla charges you can't make a discharge shot - you need at least 100/500 units charge

Few facts about tesla discharge:
- AP cost: 5 (constant, not affected by any perks)
- base damage: 60 - 120
- damage type: electric
- damage radius: 7
- discharge cost: 100
- max armor charges: 500
- recharge cost: 1 MFC = 5, 1 SEC = 2 (use traps skill on armor)
- *recharge value: 100
- **tesla armor is charging from energy based damage

*recharge value:
when you use discharge it checks for critters in discharge range, recharge value is divided by the number of critters hit and this value is added as charge to tesla armor of every critter that is wearing it and is hit by discharge

**tesla armor is charging from energy based damage
when you hit person wearing tesla armor with weapon dealing laser, plasma, electric, emp damage type his armor is charged by value equal to 25% of damage he receives
