I think it's because he is saving people the hassle of running around to different merchants hoping they have caps etc.  Not a deal for me but I can see some players wanting caps quickly taking it.

Yep, some people want 100K for useless crap, and I trade with em dropping off the caps, then over a few hours make back my investment. When not selling stuff I gather more stuff to sell off or buy people as business associates. I'd say most people have seen me trading around with bluesuits around the HUB or throwing brahmin dung at them.

I've actually been doing this since last season, simply never had a thread to get people who want to offload junk. some of players are willing to sell CA for like say 3K at the HUB when I can resell it for 5K I don't know who these people are so I usually don't ask if they would sell for that price. Also haggling takes up time to do it person by person, so I made a thread.

For things like leather jackets, mausers, sometimes radios. I prefer disassembling as well. Things like flamers are actually worth trading around a bit. Though mostly cause wood is worthless.
