Flash effect: Reduce PE to 1 / Blind effect for very shot duration. (Few seconds?)

From:
- Pulse grenade by default.
- Every thrown or launched grenade or rocket on critical hit. (or direct hit critical)

I think there are options for this flash screen as well engine side that could be used, but would have to check more thoroughly, to confirm.

Any thoughts?

well it would make throwing sneak be used more, but people would just spam pulse grenades until they're killed, and whoever they're targeting will be at 1 pe, so they can just use the blast radius to attack groups
maybe not down to 1 pe, but not a bad idea i suppose
i don't think it's needed though

sounds interesting but would just cause imbalance, explosives are already strong, and grenades take very little ap to throw

What are you talking about, go educate yourself. 3 ap, 4-5 grenades thrown per turn, that means sneak blinds whole team to 1 perception while enemy team annihilates them

Did you mean when explosives crit the do more knockback?

So, the flash effect would not work on pulse grenades, any reason to add to crit effect to normal explosives?

So, the flash effect would not work on pulse grenades, any reason to add to crit effect to normal explosives?

Not crit, every explosive shoot could make character without stonewall slip over surface. If you shoot behind him with rocket, you put him to You. If you shoot in front of him you push him back.

Not big deal, but still nice feature for pvp even in TB. Its only my opinion.

Why not
I think any crit from explosives should have automatic KD/KB (exept plasma nades), adding a few seconds blinding can be fun also, I used RL launcher with crit build once and it can be fun sometimes, rocket hit for 110+KO and such.
BTW it is not possible to score any critical hit on spash damage, explosives or bursts alike.

I do not understand the difference, right now you get knocked down and pushed away, or at least a few weeks ago when I used RL on critters it behaved like it. What is it that you wanted to be added like on FO2?

Okay, so it would work for only for direct hits, at least it's not too powerfull.
