You are mistaking skins with clothes. Clothes you can find in caves, they do change your appearance, but you have to wear them like armor. Skins are player models that look differently even without armor (or clothes). + skins can make you look like a robot. And lasers. And shit.

i just gave away 30+ skins(clothes,robes,suits etc) in ncr and hub,will do same thing tomorow and day after tomorrow!11
