Good build for start
« on: June 09, 2015, 09:12:46 am »
Hi Guys,

Is there any good build for solo PvE playing ? Currently I made a crafting ALT to supply myself with weapons.

I was thinking about an SG/BG(?) char that I could farm/Locker hunt. Something good for start to get more confidence about gameplay and mechanics.

Cheers,

This is the build I use for pve stuff. I have no problem clearing out V15 or whatever. It could probably act as an okay support with a rocket launcher in pvp. 6 int isnt really suitable for pvp though. I ussualy use an m60 or an LSW, take note that BG chars tend to drain more ammo. This means that you'll spend a bit more time mining for ammo.

Traits:
Good Natured
Bonehead

Perks:
Adrenaline Rush
Toughness
Even Tougher
Lifegiver
Lifegiver
Bonus Rate of Fire
Man of Steel
Quick Pockets

If what you want is a build that you might level up fast into 24, for crafting, lockpicking, and which could use some professions and etc, then you might be looking for what I'm using atm on my crafter:

You tag Science so that you can get Educated and Swift learner from level one. (You might read Science books till you reach... 100 science?

After you read Science books then you will be getting 27 SP per level, at level 6 you can have 150 BG, 150 First Aid. At level 14-15 you can have 160 BG 150 FA 100 lockpick, 100 doctor etc.

Then when you reach level 24, (I rerolled my one once Ireached 24) you should have 200 BG 200 FA 125 science 100 repair 100 lockpick 100 doctor which is pretty much up for everything you will need.

Then when you reach level 24, you can simply reroll it into a good PvP char or a good PvE char with levels already so that you can farm it up.

PS: With the trait Loner and support perk Swift Learner you get 20% more experience than normal, so its even easier to level up.

You can see here, at level 24 which is pretty easy to get, 200 BG, 200 FA, 125 lockpick, 125 Science, 100 Doctor (for professions)

I didn't take the third lifegiver and took "Medic" instead, that gives me a 45 seconds cooldown on First Aid, which is pretty cool.

Thanks for ideas guys. I currently came up with sth like this :

So far I've put 200% into sg (with books). How should I spend the rest of the points ?

Your build is fine. Your (eventual) goals should be:

200% fa
100% doc (priority)
150% lockpick (priority)
175% ODM (150% will do too)
100% repair
120% science + dissembling perk
100% traps (low priority)
150% barter

The above should allow you to take all professions, allow you to barter well, patch a crippled eye, heal yourself reliably and pick footlockers, V15 lockers, Glow lockers etc. ODM will allow for faster and comfortable travel if you are without a car.

Edit: You might want to use the config to increase the resolution of the game. It seems tiny right now.

Enough for muties quest, for lockers and for crafting, which is the only thing you will do with a crafter

I'd love to make a melee tank crit build. You guys have any option? Even melee crit is just fine :D. And i heard that melee build doesn't use agi? or does it?

Melee is currently the least and weakest class you can play right now.

Only thing that is good about melee is Heavy Handed trait with mega power fist spam, other than that, nope.

oh no worries tho, i don't do much pvp. I like to pve with friends, and i see melee build doing quite good pve actually.
