How not taking this occasion to ask you how have you been going since this time man :o! This bring me memories when I was 13 years old playing on your server starting high school and used this nickname "Frenchy" because I couldn't even tell 2 words in english, aaah.. ;D

Just keeping busy  :D

If you remember I had 2 little kids which progressively took up more and more of my time until 2238 time was 0 - so they're still taking up lots of my time!

I have started development of my own tabletop game,  which was always my first love really - so all the sculpting for that is going on,  which is fun.  I do miss endlessly tinkering with weapons on my spreadsheet sometimes though ... or policing some TC with my god character ... or getting endless help requests about missing tents!  Haha

Yeah Solar but you know what? When making changes to game balance, I feel like a blind man, because I don't play the game. Well, I hope that it changes tomorrow.

I dream about making a Fallout-based coop game, but huh, it's just a wet dream  ;D

Sure, this is always the problem when you do this for fun ... If you're playing you aren't doing anything ... and when you're playing you're only seeing your view point.

I'd ask players about their view and get 10 different views all disagreeing,  haha. I mostly trusted the maths and fine tuned it with a bit of player feedback.  Never will be perfect but that was how I liked it.

Of course we had a dev team with lots of different preferences on how things should be,  so lots of the time we would all have to make compromises.  Might not be the perfect way to get a finished result bit we had lots of good times  ;D


Hi Corosive, it's been so long I only vaguely remember playerweren'ti want talking to a lot.  I think I remember you and Frenchy from the tc - obviously kilgore from all the times he was arguing with wire  ;)
