Need help with lag issues

While I think I have the settings correct, I seem to have some server lag issues. The game freezes for me for anywhere between 5-15 seconds about every minute or so. This makes the beginning questing tasking and makes combat nearly impossible. Is there anything I can change in the settings to alleviate this issue?

Press F1 during those "lags", what does it show to you?

Firewall/antivirus issues?

Add the game to exceptions for any firewall/antivirus you have.
