Super Mutant Remnants gives Negative 'The Unity' reputation....

As for the Master's followers, the super mutants split into several different groups. A very large group traveled East, reaching as far as the Midwest, becoming Gammorin's Army. Another group was noted as traveling North, some (like Marcus) settled down to coexist with humans, and some small groups still wander the wastes attacking all non-super mutants.

The Unity was the name of Master's vision of humanity after the war, as well as his own organization, which includes both the Master's Army and the Children of the Cathedral.

Actually i think he is right, in fallout 2 you can encounter super mutants remnants fighting unity patrols(no?)
Actually unity patrol are citizens from broken hills armed like ncr patrols etc... while super mutants remnants are hostiles towards everyone.
So in the first place "unity patrol" in another way to say "broken hills patrol".
Super mutants remnants are still roaming around the wastes hostiles towards everybody so basically there is no link between remnants and unity patrols.

Right in my quote it says that Marcus (A Super Mutant) went to Broken Hills, a group of others followed him and they made alliances with Ghouls and Humans. Another group got scattered around the wastes, this other group is the Super Mutant Remnants. Not sure if those in Broken Hills should even be called The Unity, as The Unity no longer exists.
