Other technical problems:
When I spawn somewhere and someone is already there, then he see me for about 1-3 sec before I enter there from splash screen.
It also applies to encounters with caravans - when I spawn to encounter then I miss some first part of this encounter.

There is always small delay (ping outburst!), when going encounters or towns. Depends how high ping is going, longer you have to wait until your character respond to your actions.

Spoiler: FOnline Log • show

Starting FOnline (version 462)...
Engine initialization...
Sprite manager initialization...

Solution
-Exit client completely, delete (or rename) the cache folder, and re-launch. Problem fixed.

Issues
-I have Ranger perk but did not get a Safe House when i built a tent.
-Tent was from Level 2 tent quest so maybe it is always a tent even with Ranger. If so, disregard item 1 on this list.

Henry, just place master.dat and critter.dat into /data/packs directory. You don't have to use config to point place for those files:

Quote
- Throw "fallout.dat" or "master.dat AND critter.dat" from your Reloaded client into /data/packs directory,

Also, don't change "host" settings for test client. I did changed them and it didn't connect at all to test server.

Possible fix for crash (Wipe told in some topic, that crashes are very common with Windows XP):

Right click on test client, select "Run as administrator"

Spoiler: Way to play on test server • show

1. Download test client again.
2. Place fallout.dat or master.dat&critter.dat into "/data/packs" directory.
3. Start game with FOnline.exe (don't change settings yet, possible to fail connection to server)
4. AND REMEMBER #3

Yes, i copied my Master/Critter to the right place.
Hehe. Too lazy to check if it's on test serv already, but it won't be possible to see login menu without right files, just sayin' :P

ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

   atioglxx, (function-name not available) + 0
   FOnline, GraphicLoader::LoadDefaultEffects + 28, graphicloader.cpp (1680)
It looks like gfx driver error during loading of data/effects/*.glsl; try if updating drivers will help. Only other thing which comes to mind is to check if data/cache/ is created properly.

crashes are very common with Windows XP
Well, not exactly, but it doesn't matter anymore - it was about old client and too many has been changed over last year to keep saying that.

It isn't a little madness that new FOnline engine requires more than brand fastshooter? :o

Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2,10 GHz
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 135M

Works well, loading times are sometimes a bit tough. Got into an enforced encounter, and was only able to see my deathblow.

I agree with it.

When we take multiple count of items form containers, trunks, etc and we want to apply that count by Enter key button then we must press it two times.

Also sometimes we must press two times enter key button on login screen or when we use SAY option in dialog.

Categories on barter doesn't work now, but I think in first days of test it worked fine.

When we read blueprints they don't want to load immediately but after few seconds (max 15 seconds for me).

You have to ignore delay/lags with test server, and wait for more stable release!

You can ignore "unstable ping" as it's caused by the setting on the test server, made to decrease cpu load on the server machine.

I know the difference between unstable ping and these delays. From where the devteam can know about bugs without reports? They aren't a Kashpirovsky.

IMO more stable version of FOnline:Reloaded as the all game, not only engine, was relased about year ago. I think that new engine it's dead end (for now). Old one still works much better. Autoupdate and integration with FOConfig are the only ones of the advantages. Everything else it's only delays, delays, errors, delays and nowhere defined for the game without delays ultra-high requirements (OMG, minimum OpenGL2.0 for graphics from 2nd half of the '90s). If you want to see more stable release of new FOnline engine then you must wait a year, or two, or more - PC machines will be faster and new FOnline engine will have only these bugs which no one will care.

No, they are not. You still look at FOnline as a player, even if you started tinkering with SDK.

If you want to see more stable release of new FOnline engine then you must wait a year, or two, or more
FOnline2 devs are waiting too - for client which will run on low-end machines (surprisingly, i don't see their reports in the thread). Ashes of Phoenix devs does the same, plus they'll have extra work with GUI modifications they've added, so it would take even longer.
I have no idea what's going on with russian side of FOnline, but i don't think it's much different there; last time i asked around, they've been using exactly same revision as servers mentioned (or even older) which is dated on january.

That's already almost a year of waiting.
Games are meant to be created, not played...

Actually, I feel quite opposite - it would be a dead end if we just stayed at the old version. Current (old) Reloaded version also has it's bugs - famous bug with hidden mode trade, fullscreen + alt-tab bug, various crashes and problems - just see "Bugs" section. If we didn't update it, we would have just to deal with it.

However, certain new features on Reloaded REQUIRED an update - so yeah, we had a good reason to do it.
