Server help

I have other friends who play this game, however, when we try to meet up, we cannot find each other. We think this is because there are different servers, but we have no idea how tochange servers to get on the same one to play together. Could someone help me out?

If you downloaded client from here:

then you are playing on same server.
To meet, go to the same public location, or use radio:

There's more than one server running this system? Not TLA and * spit * FO2, but this system?
