at this moment burst mode of xl deal bigger damage than avenger even if we add 3xbrd.
It is quite unbalanced and Kilgore please have a look at it.

Probably burst min-max dmg will be decreased a bit. If you have other ideas, post them here.

I am last person to nerf weapons, but sg are weak anyway and I would leave it.
Only what I am afraid is crit burst damage with +3xbrd and better crit from xlf, it can be op like old m60.
I would just boost avenger damage (+1-2 min/max)or make it again 40/burst weapon.

Let's just make weapons heal people, instead of killing them. This way no one gets hurt, and everybody will live happily ever after.

Why everybody start crying on forums to nerf something, whenever someone finds good way to PvP? Why not BUFF other weapons instead?
After aimshots nerf, snipers with finesse are trash. Its better for me to use freaking bursts, that aimed shots on my sniper char. Nerfing everything is not the way to go.

Xl now has 20-40 x 15 for 6 ap that is 300-600 dmg. With brof + action boy x2 and -1ap from crafting you can fire up to 3 series for 12 ap with no problem that is 1800 max dmg.

Minigun has only one option for a build and that is brd, brd, mrd. That gives 14+7= 21 max dmg. With burst you get 630 max dmg and you can use it 2 times in a round.

So there are 2 options

1st lower cost of use in ap for a minigun/avenger to 5 co he can spam 3 series and be agin the king of burst weapons with normal dmg. ( 12 ap with jet if you get a -1ap on the weapon )

2nd lower dmg of xl. Till now main burst weapon for sg was the Grease Gun and with same build like the XL you could do 900 max dmg or brd x2 and mrd and do 810 max dmg.

So I think for the 2nd option we could lower Xl dmg to 15-25.
That would give 25 x 15 = 375 dmg and times 3 we will get 1125.

One thing is sure we can't let xl to be the best burst weapon in fonline when you dont need a recepie or so many resources to build it.

Kirkor you have no idea about game ballance so don't shit post. People are getting mad couse they invested so much time and caps in the bg burster and are outdamaged by a sg that you can get with less than 1 day of playling.

Edit1:

3rd Litle crazy  :D Change xl burst to 10 rounds that will give it still 1200 max dmg per round and boost miniguns dmg by 2.

you just dont get it. xl shouldnt have higher damage than avenger. and it is dealing big damage and with 3xbrd and better crit can deal huge damage even 300+ in range

Xl burst:4-5ap and av burst:5-6ap, range is the same 35hex but xl Have shorter animation and lesser str requirement 5 not 7. Av shoot 30per burst and xl only 15 and it have same or bigger damage. Xl as top weapon should do 80%-85% avenger damage.

I don't think single shot should be boosted it already have same dmg what have sniper rifle

I don't agree with it.

If u have DR build then minigun sometimes hit you for 10 dmg from 8 hex (ofc not always).
But anyway M60 deals about 100 dmg at same range.

So every dmg depends on what are shooting in.
I am 100% sure that minigun will do massive dmg to blue-suit for example - much more than xl70e.

And I hope admins will not make changes just due to forum crying.
Btw: I don't play SG and I think caliming and crying about SG is better than BG is just ridiculous

Well the thing is noone makes xl with mrd and brd couse xl has high base dmg. You just pick action boy x2 and have 12ap. With brof and -1ap on the gun you get 3 burst in the 1st round and with jet and +1 ap on armor you can realod xl in the same round. Minigun has only 2 burst and no matter what you do you can't outdamage xl.

If the xl is a better gun, then wouldnt it behoove you to set down that minigun, and join the lightweight polymer assault rifle revolution?


Besides..miniguns belong mounted in helicopters...not in peoples hands.

Not everything is balanced. you cant compare apples with mausers.

But, i will meet you 1/2 way and acknowledge that the gun is FAR too good to be made without a blueprint
