PHAH, FONLINE would not exist without Fallout and Fallout 2. So, respect Grandma and Grandpa and dont mess around with the basics - fix TB and eliminate RT.

I thought like that too at first, but after getting used to RT I don't want to go back to TB.

Still, FOnline isn't Fallout.

Fallout is turn based game. ...
Its was event, vi used flare! ...

You're right, in Fallout, the combat is in turn-based.
But this is FOnline: Reloaded
There are people with characters built for real-time combat.

And "TB trap" is called "trap" for a reason.
An event is usually announced before it begins. It was a trap. Noobs don't know about flares, so they drop in mostly by misfortune and by curiosity.

Fallout, FOnline: Reloaded, fuck it's a fallout game, and since there is turnbased (much like classic fallout) and realtime (like tactics) if you can't handle one you prolly shouldn't even fucking play the game. I have never really gotten a chance to see anyone bitch realtime (which let's be honest is the more unbalanced of the two systems primarily due to the fact that you can move indefinately and only fire your weapon when action points recharge. Whereas turnbased you can only do as many actions as your ACTION POINTS define you to be able to do). That's just my two cents. anyways here is a meme I made for this occasion

I didn't said that "I can't handle TB combat", nobody said that.

FOnline: Reloaded is a game based on the Fallout games.
The setting is still nearly the same as in the world of Fallout.

Although I really love the first two Fallout games and their TB system, (Shit! Fallout 2 is still my favorite game! I've completed it minimum 250+ times. I just can't stop loving the heck out of it!) the game what we are arguing about is still called "FOnline: Reloaded".
It has 2 (two) combat modes.
And people make use of those combat modes.

....
Builds.
...

You know what builds are?
They are specific character builds for weapons/combat modes, etc..
RT specialist characters mostly suck ass in TB. Especially in a TB trap.

Just try to drop into some TB trap with your most powerful TB build.
Your opinion on TB traps will change real quickly.

The reason why you haven't seen anybody "bitching" about RT is because FNGs won't register on the forum to cry about one of the game's main feature and because RT is pretty fucking balanced. It's a good, working system. The same as TB.

Fallout ≠ FOnline

Why is there such an outrage over tb traps? Traps that you don't have to enter.. Honestly thought you would be the last one to complain about shit carnack. All hope is lost now.

I love how people only read the name of the topic and/or 1-2 posts.

it's not a trap. TB as option for trap but not RT.

There is a big difference between TB trap and RT ambush.
When you spawn in a TB trap (sometimes by forced encounter), you have 100% chance to die before have the chance to move, even with a tank build. Because a TB build with good gear, will always deal 300 + damage.
In a RT ambush in Reno or WH, you can scout with sneaker, use map preview, choose your spawn point... Its much more realistic and balanced.
Reno and WH are pvp zones, it is known. When you go there, be prepared, especially when you go alone. You won't have any more "revenge", the only time you killed me was because of the old name colorizing, won't happend again, be sure. When I kill you in Reno or WH, it's not lame or shit, I have better build and much more skill. Get used to it.

Yeah and Kilgore told on IRC that there is new update in this week. That won't solve PvP problems, but maybe some other things.

oh kirkor you will not get rid of me on forums i am sorry

the wipe eta collides with dark souls 2 so i am quite sure i will rather play a hard. ballanced and  rewarding game when it comes out

i am sure nobody will want to play against cheating bbs so i find it rather entertaining to watch the future of this server

i didnt start this topic so i am pissed my nickname is written there in the started by column which can only mean some forum moderator manipulated this topic by replacing the first post with my post
