Newbie question
« on: March 03, 2014, 06:53:15 pm »
Hi, my mate just fell down on a player under the HUB, the fight was in turn base. Mate could not niether sent /hh on the radio nor shoot him. The log screen was showing smth like "something is seems to be blocking the signal". What was that and what can be done?

You sure it was a player? Was he in a caravan? Was it special encounter?

It was a player McReddy-44 (or smth like this) with Hummer and Mercs.

After my mate ran away from him sent /hh on radio, we dropped in and few seconds later, and somehow the abuser dropped back tehre and the Hummer changed the owner.

People tend to ferociously defend their vehicles if they are forced into an encounter whilst travelling by one.

MacReady-44 is a really cool chap, he won't shoot at noobs, but in a situation like this, I'm pretty sure that anyone would get a little trigger-happy.

Next time you drop into an similar encounter, just get the fuck out!
(If you can.)

Even I would shoot first.

And this is why I don't take my vertibird anywhere.
Though with the upcoming wipe, I may as well fly it into someone, run around with a grenade down my pants, kill self and let them steal it. Not much point to being careful if it's all going to go "BOOM" soon.
