my suggestion is to add global chat to game, any helmet having global radio channel (instaed of 0 channel) that can be reached with /g "text"¨

communicating with irc or forum is only annoying and you still have to do that so why not make the gaming experience smoother

My idea looks like this:
After reaching some level (around 9, so you cana avoid asshole lvl1 spammers), you can do a quest that upgrades your PipBoy.
That upgrade would be Global Chat, that is visible on normal interface AND on big PipBoy screen. There would be few global channels, like General, Trade, LFG or Help
Would be good if you could have your own channels like on IRC or any other MMO...


Another PipBoy upgrade would be Electronic DayPass for Vault City. So you don't have to bring normal DayPass with you anymore.

And my inbox full of reports of spammers, global chat flame, insults, racism and whatever else you can imagine.
Maybe it would be just better to make radio default channel 0 and reception enabled like previously on 2238, it acted like some sort of global chat (just note that it was being spammed with what I mentioned above all the time).

But either way he did cover one problem, lame assed shitbags spamming up the hailing channel (level 9 requirement)....
It would probably look like this-ish:

Now, we can reach out. If I don't have a radio, I could just say, "Ok, can we meet at VC?" or vice versa.... Also, it could be set up to "auto-sign" so you already know who you're talking to:

Simple solution

Like in chat in game u see the players nicks for example

make a code where this happens when u use radios aswell. Because in real life u would reckonise the voice aswell. Then kikor idea would work,  spammers could face a ban and it would be easy yo identify them.
Trade channel, farm channel what ever u can then have the option to whisper over the radio a private channel to the person who talking with a command confront like ~whisper@kikor text
he will get the whisper over the radio and boom private channel made u can do your trading
anyone who spams faces a ban from useing that channel
