i died in an exit, my items are there, i can't get them back

so i died in the exit zone.  My stuff is still there and i can't get to it without leaving the area, to get it back.  How do i get it back?

Throw grenade or explosive to yourself with hex-throwing button "~" and you can run for your items.

Be careful that other players don't come close to you, when you throw grenade to yourself.
