Even better, but they are rare. Leather armors are common. They would stay that way and now be as powerful as Teslas. There is a reason why you can't sneak in Tesla Armor.

Leather Armor Mk3 obviously shouldn't be as good as Tesla.
I'm thinking maybe same normal DR as Leather Mk1, same explode as MK2, better laser/plasma DR than Mk2 and better fire DR than any craftable armor.

This armor is an upgraded version of LA mkII so it sould have the same properties but with buffed thermal damage resistance... a little improvement on plasma/laser and a high imporvement on Fire! maybe reduce the Electric DR/DT and Explosive DR/DT! The normal sould be the same as with LA mkII or maybe the DT or DR could be lowered a littlebit but not both!

That was my thought. It would work fine as a fireproof MK II variant (not another upgrade). Why? When you upgrade LA MK I to II you use hard golden gecko pelts and thick brahmin hide. If you use scaled fire gecko skin instead - you'll get same normal but higher fire/laser/plasma dr and a new, awesome look! #swag
It would give you a choice similar to the one you have when you go on a low-level pvp (tesla or ca), here it would be LA MK2 vs Fireproof Leather Armor!

If that was possible people would combine 10 brahmin hides into one armor, I guess. There would be probably a problem to combine so many layers of material and to put sharp scales and a hide together.
