Private mines and Slaves

So I get that slaves get killed in public mines, People are dicks, etc... So why exactly do they magically vanish from private mines? I wanted to go collect the resources and wouldnt you know it. The little prick is nowhere to be found. So now im out 100,000 caps for the mine, 1000 for the slave, and dont even have a single mineral to craft. This is bullshit!

Don't logout in the mine. Go to wm and logout

You should still have the mine...
I did the same thing. Only time I ever dual logged, my alt actually watched the little birch run off.

There is no bug. People successfully make heaps of resources out of private mines, you just need to learn how to use slaves.
