A Man's Job Shadowy man problem

So, I already have been in 4 stations and my quest was updated to talk to the shadowy man at the NCR train station. I talk to him, He says that doesnt know anybody than I can say that he is lying and he just say to stop bothering me, and the other option is saying goodbye.

There should be an option to threaten him with a weapon.
I don't know if you have to be armed for this though.

I have a pistol and a BB gun, i guess it should work... I will try leaving them o my inventory, not on my hand


Edit: I tried, the same thing. Any hint of what can I do?

Edit: Solved, I used mentats. My INT and CHA were to low XD
