The Economy of the Micro Fusion Cells

Hello there! You may know me from the Tinker's Emporium, but I adopt many names and shapes... uh... whatever.

I wanted to ask a question, because everywhere I see auctions or just people selling their MFC I just can't help myself but notice that they are selling really cheap. For example, there was this guy which auctioned 10k MFC. The buyout was at 35K. I can't believe he just "found them" on footlockers (well, maybe he has but whatever). Instead, for crafting that bunch of MFC he should have spent 1500 caps for 3 uranium ore, necessary to craft 100 MFC, to that, we add 60 caps to refine them all (20x3=60), so it's 1560 total. We won't count as money the alloys and the elec parts needed, since you can just farm them. So the calculations are the following:

1500 + 60 = 1560 caps for 100 MFC

10K MFC are in fact 100 "craftings" of MFC, so you will need 300 Uranium ore. So, in the end it will cost us the following:

1560 (per crafting) x 100 = 156K caps total

I'm actually selling crafted MFC in my store at 3K each 100. I know it might seem expensive, but so it is the risk of getting to Broken Hills and get the uranium, PLUS the risk of refining it (I have to get it to the refinery). So... here's my question...

TL;DR: How the hell people sell those MFC SO CHEAP?

1. They get those from various lockers and encounters
2. They don't need them
3. They want to sell it fast.

Enclave patrols seem to carry a lot of them.

or you can craft some shitty stuff and exchange it to NPC for MFC...

So does Super Mutants. It might take some time to get 10k MFC but if you don't use it, MFC has as much value as anyone is willing to pay for it .

Super muties, or enclave patrols, it  is like 5mm ammo, you can farm them in really big quantity to they sell them very cheap.
