Is there a size limit on vehicle size? I am thinking one thing.. a Sandworm!
Theoretically there is no problem with that,
but the actual object (vehicle in this case) is not related to the sprite,
which means the actual size stays the same and you can run through portions of the new sprite it it's larger
or there are be invisible boundaries if the sprite is smaller.
