NPCs attack for no reason
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:25:10 pm »
For some reason Brotherhood patrols and NCR soldiers started attacking me in encounters.
I didn't attack them. No stray bullets from bursts either. I do not have any rep for them.
After some encounters they stopped attacking me anymore and act like normal again.

Any chance you had Enclave Armor on you?
I've heard that some NPC may attack you, if you're wearing these.

Nope. Just leather armor mk2.

I wasn't even close to them and got no "put your weapon away" warning either nor did I loot anything.

They are just douchebags.

Next time click "look" on any NCR army, it will say something like

"with the way they're smiling, do not expect much mercy"

Maybe you are a child killer? Or a slaver? I don't see how this could be a bug since the coding for encounters is pretty well made. I personally have never been attacked by an npc who didn't have a good reason (based on rep or faction or allegiance) to kill my character.

Try to recreate it lol, if you can't then you must have done something in the game to deserve it lol
