tb vs rt vs tc

tb is about tactics.
chess.
rt is about mashing buttons.
chance.

lets say your faction wants to take control of a town.
no other faction has control.
your faction takes control by killing the miltia in TB at a spot away from the town.
you have to specify the time you wish to do so.
and your opponent meets you there.
if your not there you forfit.

lets say your faction owns the town.
another faction wants the town.
once the challenge is made, the owners have so many hours (days) to respond to the challenge, pick a time and commit and muster their crew to repel the challenge.
in tb at a place away from the town.

maybe prior to the engagement the faction leaders get to place their assets on the battleground.
maybe limit the number of players at the battleground for the control of this town.
both teams come up with 20 of their best players.
I am thinking of chess and not the number a faction can muster to take a town.
but the last one standing can call in there minions (radio) to the battle ground to loot those who lost and have control of the town.

my idea is more than likely lame and unworkable.
I have no experience in tc and shun rt like the plague.
but in the little rt I have been forced to play, mashing buttons the fastest may get the adrenalin running, but instant gratification isn't so gratifying after a short time.
the looser can still pester the town, but cant take the town until an official challenge is logged and accepted.
and the town holder has so long to accept a challenge or forfit.
just another of my long line of lame ideas
:)
