Actuly sounds like a good idea, Altho it wont be really realistic when people are doing TC and thay see a faction of 10 guys with 4 deathclaws each.

Deathclaws should have a party point requirement so high that it only allows one or maybe two with Man of the Wild.
You could have 4 baby deathclaws though, I guess.

It's a big enough drawback that you need high CHA, Speech and Outdoorsman for people not to abuse it, I think.

"Man of the Wild sounds like trait."
It could also work as a trait, if it's possible to add new ones.

As a perk it could just say something like:
"After years in the company of animals you have formed a strong bond with them.
Unfortunately humans don't like talking to people who smell of urine and rotten meat very much."

I especially like the lead foot perk. It could be a support perk that you learn from some guy in T-ray's garage in Reno.

ShOw.

I like the suggestions a lot :)

And I agree you could make deathclaws very hard to have as followers to prevent pvp abuse.

Deathclaw would be good only then if you cant command him arround, he accepts you as part of hes family.... this partner is not a pet nor your lapdog that is why hes not accepting orders.. he attacks everything that is on the map that is not you! even your team mates.... so it would be only good to use if alone on the wasteland! this beast will be shot on sight by the guards in town... and he will be auto hostil to evey npc in town... so this featur wont be abused in TC nor with big groups! you can ask him to stay in your tent or follow you to the wastelands... not advised in faction base...

Don't really see what's the big deal with deathclaws.
A character that would be able to recruit a deathclaw would stand little chance in PvP
and a deathclaw or even two is not really a big deal. A couple attacks and they're goners.

That is, if you haven't boosted them massively after 2238. Haven't fought one in Reloaded yet.

I wouldn't mind at all if they weren't recruitable though.
I'm fine with pet fire geckos.

Maybe we could say that special creatures aren't recruitable (Deathclaws, Floaters, Centaurs, Aliens ...)
They're not really animals in the first place, I guess.

As i remember, some Deathclaws have high inteligence,so why not? Hell even in fallout 2 you could get deathclaw (goris).
And they really isn't that tough, one burst from 1hex by BG and they are out,so why not?
1 DW can take perhaps 100 PP.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger...
