kilgore I dont know if you test pancor shotguns but they are fucking OP!

my sg burster with x3brd and fast shoot and green amunition dealed vs 11/55% tank 140dmg in range and vs 14/88% 96 dmg???????



Kilgore man, brof + ap reduce pancor shotgun is only 4ap per burst and it is much stronger than avenger!!!

please nerf amunition or nerf shotgus dmg becasue sg shotgun own avenger, and what is even worst 2-3pancor shotguners can block enemy room rush with their big dmg and knock back effect

what about XL70E3 that was totally overpowered, I didn't change anything with that, now it isn't OP anymore?  :D

what is even worst 2-3pancor shotguners can block enemy room rush with their big dmg and knock back effect

and rocket launchers can't? should I nerf rocket launchers?

Dmg is too high, ap requirement is too low... Its too strong ... dang. Ofc, its just fist imression, but from what i saw, and after doing some tests, it looks OP.

It is so op. Rl tanks will die with 2 bursts from it, if even survive, they will die from third burst. Its now pointless using avenger in small pvp or tc, because people will rather use pancor, because it has similar range as avenger and + it knock back enemies.

avenger has higher range and can do 1hex

anyway, needs more testing then we can talk about changes. probably range cut to 25 and maybe some dmg or ammo adjustment

instead of whining you can post a specific suggestion with numbers, otherwise your feedback is just useless yadda-yadda op nerf i've died

Ok so the pancor have weak 1 hex. XL and avenger have advantage there.

That gun should have been nerfed instead of avenger buff. Now we have inflation of damage and fixed HP and DR making PvP just 1 or 2 shot action, even for full tanks. It's getting boring really.

Yes, pancor range should be 25 hex and you should decrease dmg of it a bit, so people will use it in some small pvp, like support weapon when camp inside buildings etc, and not in tc.

yeah I agree it must be boring when only avenger rocket launcher and sniper rifle is in use

No Kilgore i mean the action is boring when you die from 1 critburst or 2 avenger burst. But it can be fun too when that is your enemy who dies. I would like so see a bit more staying power though, especially for full tank builds.

And all know that pancor is not a TC weapon, especially if you will nerf the range.

Anyway,
instead of whining you can post a specific suggestion with numbers

Make the damage like that of the XL. Make range to 25. That way pancor will have knockback, XL will have 1hex. Balance.

kilgore i liked your shotgun buff until i saw them in action (i died) but after it i made tests with green and purple amunition.

1. about 1hex you wont 1hex pancor shotguner becasue he will just push you back and it consume time for falling back animation so shotguner can shoot you 2nd time.

2. now  if we compare 2xburst from pancor and avenger: for 3xbrd 12ap brof bg you have 245hp adr rush/toughnes or 2xtounes and 2xbrd. at the same time for 2xburst we dont need brd for pancor so we can make 286hp adr rush/2xtoughness stonewall brof shotguner for psycho and beer.
bg: 11/60% with 2xbrd 245hp 12ap btof vs 11/75% stonewall 286hp shotuner, and they are making very similar dmg. and avenger will have lots of problem to 1hex shotguner.

my solution: nerf green and purple dr penetrate factor from -50% to 35% and 25% or lover slugs per burst from 4 to 3.

all know that pancor is not a TC weapon, especially if you will nerf the range.
Today in Klamath I've seen such weapons as:
PPK12 Gauss Pistol, Pancor Jackhammer, Avenger Minigun, Rocket Launcher, Gatling Laser, Sniper Rifle, M72 Gauss Rifle, XL70E3, Laser Rifle, .223 Pistol

Is this bad?

Now that's some idea, I'll probably try that. I'm still waiting for some suggestions to LSW.. base single shot cost will be probably lowered by 1, how to increase burst damage - I have no ideas so far. And here? I can only receive some feedback like crying from jacky and other crapposts... you want some quality changes, then make a good suggestion, with numbers specified. You expect me to test all weapons in various settings? It's what you are here for, not me.

25range won't balance it because it will be used for room defending with huge dmg per burst. Nerf dmg to something similar to xl because knock back effect if very useful feature. And you said something about rl, to kill 286hp tank you need 4-5 rockets and you have to reload after every shoot, pancor have clip magazine for 6 bursts?

footlocker observations since change.
I farm a lot of footlockers.
usually there are a few other players in the area.
today I couldn't swing a dead cat around without hitting another player.
I doubt footlocker hunting is dead.
also i seem to find more rare items than usual.
maybe because more players hunting them increases odds of high level loot.
or maybe im just a lucky bastard today.
as far as i can tell these changes are good.

Learn to use suggestions subforum... it's where ideas should be discussed, not some random posts in random threads with random whine, because they will be simply lost. When I'm working on the update, I only check suggestions/bugs boards. There was some guy from Hawks on irc saying that LSW sucks, I told him to post a suggestion, do you see anything there? If you want to be taken seriously, then start acting seriously...

c_hieter: the only changed in footlockers was adding a chance to spawn barter book there. It depends on luck heavily how many footlockers you encounter and what loot you found. Since the launch, almost nothing was changed in there.
