Ive been thinking about this. From my point of view. There should be areas with water supply in it. If there is none - desert without oasis for example - player should have some water in his inventory, like fuel ; p. That would be nice.

In general. Such things could become vital for the gameplay as an alternative for pvp since there is no new quests or other adventures .
 
Water on its one is interesting resource. Ideal for my Monopoly concept. Which all of you admire to the point, that you became speechless, and lost for words about it ; p

I had same idea.  Be nice for add more survival feeling but how would it work.  If  I starve to death die come back am I full again? why not kill my self then be full?
Maybe if your starving just have negative to stats.

Good idea might be to add new workbench => cooking pot, and possibility to fix/cook new consumables. To get the ingredients players can hunt for monsters (as they usually do). Every second or third of mobs would carry meat or eggs (for example rat meat, pieces of mantis, radscorpion eggs).  Then bring this things to tent/base and craft food like bramin steak (fa.: gives +10 carry weight for 6 hour), scrambled radscorpion eggs (gives poision resistance) and so on..

All bonuses from eating [beyond the immediate treatment or a small premium to the healing rate] should last for no more than 6h and be associated with some minor effects (increased weight capacity, resistance to poison, one sequence) never with SPECIAL cause it is too much of stimulants in this game.

Game masters could think about it after they create this dungeons and battlegrounds for which we are waiting :D

You might as well add train building a management. Food and drink is out of scope of fallout games.

Yeah food/water should be needed in Fonline, idea of cooking pot is good too !

My idea is to give negative effect if you strave/thirsty

0 to 25%

+2healing rate
+2 healing rate

25to50% :

no more healingrate
starvation : - 1st -1agi
thirst : -1end -1agi

50to100% :

no more healingrate
starvation : -2st -1agi
thirst : -1end -1agi -1pe

Farmable food (need knife) :

rats : 1 meat
Gecko : 1 meat
Ggecko : 2 meat
Firegecko : 3 meat
brahmines : 1 meats
hard brahmines : 2 meats
Dogs :1 meat
molerats : 1 meat
mmolerats : 2 meat
small deathclaw : 3 meat
deathclaw :6 meat
centaur : 3 radiated meat
floater : 4 radiated meat
human : 2 humanflesh

Farmable water (need waterbags) :

water pipes : radiated water (10x respawn like fiberplant)
whells : radiated water  (10x respawn like fiberplant)

Food effect :

Meat -10%
cooked meat -40%
radiated meat -10% +5%rad lvl
iguana on a stick - 60%
fruits -10%
human meat -10%
cooked human meat -40%
television dinner -80%
cheese prof = -25%
noodle= -50%
radiated water -50%+10% rad
water = -50%
beer =-25%
nukacola=-25%
meat -10%
meatjerky -60%

Cooking recipe :

5x radiated meat + 1rad away = 5 meats
5x waterbags + 1 radaway = 5 purified water
meat + lighter needed = cooked meat
needleramox1+meat+xander=iguana on a stick
coocked meat+water+fruit+xander= television dinner

Support perks :

fast metabolism allow to -50% on stravation/thirst dicrease
sneakeater allow to -50% rad/poison on radiated meat and dirty water
geckoksinning allow to farm meat from dead npcs

Addiction :

canibalism = +/-600 karma to certain npcs

Maybe need to eat every 1 day ig, so it mean stravation/thirst up to 100 in a day ig.

PS : all aliments up to -50% add shit in inventory XD

This is not good cause sometime u have stuff to do in rl so no imo.Consider like when u offline y character sleep or having sex whit rubber doll but in general ideas are good.

This has been brought up a few times in the past in regards to previous servers. Generally it was shouted down.

It's not something that would be hard to implement, but it would take some time to do right. I'm personally all for it, assuming it isn't done in a ridiculous manner (no examples off the top of my head).

Maybe the ability to opt out of it would satisfy those that hate the idea, but most likely not.

I like the idea. It shouldn't be THAT important to regularly eat and drink,
but maybe you could get small advantages for it.

Like 10% faster travel on WM if you drink water or iguano-on-a-stick giving +2 healing rate for 10 minutes.

I always loved how you could hunt animals for their meat and fry it in a pan in the Gothic pc game
or how you could mix water with flour to make dough and bake bread with it in Arx Fatalis.

But I can understand that there are many other things that require more attention.

Hunger mod should not be added to Fonline, because I'll tell you why:

Its a bloody MMO.

Items, as in food that you can eat that gives you temporal boost (Be it carry weight, +AP I don't really care) thats good.

But dying? Being weaker because of not eating? Not a MMO thing.

What....? Actually if you dont use drugs, crafted stuff, etc you will be weaker.
