Melee Fighter Perks/traits?

There are many perks that say they increase HTH - like Bonus HtH Attacks which say Unarmed attacks cost 1 less AP etc. Do these work for melee weapons like Cattle Prod and Sledge aswell? and in this case, which perks and traits work only for unarmed attacks so I can avoid taking them? I am trying to get a nice melee fighter build going, but it's hard to determine what to take because of this.

Unarmed and Melee is merged to one skill -> Close Combat
All Unarmed perks/traits effect now to Melee too.
