Unable to retrieve tent from placed container

I stored a tent inside a crafted locker that I put in my safe house, and now I am unable to take the tent out of the locker.  All the other items I've tried work normally.  When I try to take the tent out, the tent disappears from the lockers inventory but does NOT appear in mine, and when I close/reopen the locker's inventory, the tent is back in the same exact place it was before.
