Normally (irl), the mask is attached to the degasser by pipe and it has nothing to do with radiation.

Yes mask is attached to the degasser by pipe and  prevents the penetration of radiation by airborne droplets.

proper build = 95% rad resistance

improper build = go for all support perks to get 95%

craft armors with rad res. = it goes up to +30 rad res me think.

You right about build and resist armor.

But its more about roleplay, loot diversity, and another way to build your radiation defence.

That's a minmax thinking right here.

Not all items are supposed to be used all the time, and they could give you some bonuses before char is ready for support perks/mass crafting/etc. Unless, of course, low tier armors/weapons should be removed too, as they're not used by "proper builds".
