Can't get Light Step Support Perk

the Childern won't talk to me so I can't get the perk, I don't Have Childkiller and I tryed paying the 5000 caps at the Cathedral but that didn't work.

I suppose you have traps>=50%, what I noticed is that if you fuck these children up (ie by being rude to them or by killing them), they hesitate to talk to you again for some time.

Are you checking kids in Klamath?

yes I do ahve 50% traps.

No I haven't done anything to the children infact the only time i went to Klamath was to get the perk.

Do you see dialog message above them, or do NPCs just freeze and not able to get dialog?

I just get a message above them, they aren't frozen.

Probably not the case, but children get scared of any Metal Masks, so make sure you're not wearing one when talking to them.
