Snakeater and Repair Bugs.

Completed the quest, didn't get the perk. EN=7.

Repair X item (last time it was CA2) of 61/80 (about 80 anyways), text box says "Repair Successful," now it's 50/50 (was in the 50's anyways). Repair=125% (I've tried to raise it anyways, didn't work).

there's nothing wrong with the 'Snakeater' perk. It's requirement is EN>=6 and 75% outdoorsman.

there's also nothing wrong with item repair, not sure what are you talking about anyway, it doesn't make sense.

A protip since you're a smartass..:

next time use wiki - https://www.fonline-reloaded.net/wiki/index.php?title=Repair

You can find ie this:

125% is max Repair, which is 95% chance for successful repair
Failed maintenance only decreases max condition (as above)

Successful maintenance will repair an item to max condition, at the same time it will probably decrease overall max condition by:
3-5% if used with Super Tool Kit in active slot
6-7% if used with Wrench in active slot
8-10% if used with Tool in active slot
12-15% if used without additional tools

There's no way you could've screwed 30% condition with only one repair/successful or not. Must've been at least two without tools or multiple with different tools.

I know that you want to comment as much as you can in as many topics as possible, but 80% of what you post is BS.

EN=7, outdoor=100%

125% repair+Mr. Fixit= at least not in worse current condition than it was BEFORE repair, unless there’s a bug.

Protip; Next time before replying, READ.
Naother wone, since you’re a DUMBASS; I DID use the wiki. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known where to GET the perk.
8-10% if used with Tool in active slot

I had Tool in active slot. (I don’t have a super toolkit yet.)

you nowhere stated that you've read the wiki. EN=7 could be just what you would be remembering from previous seasons etc..

Since you used the tool, that's around -10% from condition per use, so you must have fucked up the same way you fuck up 90% of your doing here on Reloaded.

Yes, I’ve “fucked up” every single repair I’ve ever done.
Sure. Totally buying that. Right.

So the repair bug is getting even weirder…
Combat Shotgun, current condition 83/100. Repair is 125, using a multitool (still don’t have a toolkit)… Repaired condition 100/100. I know it’s not supposed to work that way, “at best” 91/91 after repair. (I Know I shouldn’t complain, but ya, a bug is a bug…)
(BTW, went back to the doctor a couple days later. It was in fact just a bug… She’s got it now.)

If the repair went perfect, it's fully repaired to max cond.

After Fonline: Reloaded Wiki:

https://www.fonline-reloaded.net/wiki/index.php?title=Repair

There is a chance that max condition will not be decreased if you use tools:

20% chance if you use Super Tool Kit
15% chance if you use Wrench
10% chance if you use Tool

So I finally thought to get PROOF of what I was saying, but the damned file is too large.
Combat shotgun; Before repair 88/92. Repair of 125 (maxed out, I've tried to extend it more than once, just to see if I could get past the cap using probably the same bug that causes this). Using a multi-tool, it came out 82/82 (so the repaired condition was LESS than the pre-repaired condition, meaning it came out WORSE than before). Pretty sure repairing something ISN'T supposed to do that.
No, it's not every single time; I'm thinking it's a glitch somewhere in the repair algorithms. (That's why it's called "a bug.")

You must be trolling, right?
Get a Super Tool kit (it costs only 2k caps) and try it again. Only perfect repairs don't lower the max condition of the repaired item - otherwise every repair (with max skill and a ST kit) lowers the max condition a bit - so going from 76/95% to 90/90% is completely normal.

Yes but "76/95" to say 70/70? That's not a successful repair. That's a failed repair.

why are you repairing things that clearly don't need to be repaired?

Irony is so stale, I'm just going to assume you aren't equiping the tool in your active slot (1) to get the reduction and benefits from using such an item which is the reason why you're seeing these low max condition but please post some screen shots of you repeating this bug. Use imgur to host the screenshot or some other image hosting site.

I want to see a video because I tried to replicate the bug, but no, there's simply no issue with repair at all.
