Wacky Wasteland Quest bugged?

Hello,

I was in the middle of the Wacky Wasteland quest (which is hilarious btw  ), I got to the part where

I'm talking with the creepy priest from the Cathedral and when the game prompted me to select what I would took from his body (I selected take everything) the conversation exited and it didn't tell me where to go next. When I check on the pipboy it says quest state :error

What can I do to continue this quest? I was wishing I could complete it

It's incomplete then? Because after I talked to the priest I got no directions nor the loot I was supposed to receive  , the priest just turned in to the burning animation and nothing. Tried talking to him before that but all he gives is the generic float text
