Young adventurers?

I’m a big fan of the fact you can have companions (not to excited that they don’t heal and don’t listen well) but I can’t find much use for them soloing, I seen a few people with 500hp+ companions and was wondering how you get them?

Young Adventurers are found in bars, turn those random companions into escort npcs, and level them with use. Consume their totals for bonus rewards. Max level is like 6-8, so 500 HP npcs isn't possible.
