Do you mean to choose my attributes? If so, I did that.

did you copy the two Fallout 2 files over to the Fonline Reloaded folder? in other words did you install the game correctly?

It almost sounds like...you simply need to click in the login field, and hit Backspace first to erase the word "login", then type your character name, then Tab to password field and use Backspace again to erase the word "password". For whatever reason, those fields On-Focus property does not auto-highlight all of the existing characters.

Forum and ingame are 2 completely separate accounts. You got to hit register and make your character. I suggest studying the wiki before doing that.

Also make sure in data files you got the paths for the critter and master dat set.

How exactly AC affects the chance to be hit?
Is a melee focus on AC a good choice?
From WIKI
"The defender's AC is directly subtracted from the attacker's chance to hit."
So if I have 140 AC, there are no chance a gunner can hit me when I am running?

This is why many guys get their fighting skill up to 300, because 300 - 140 still gives decent chance to hit. This is also why most guys don't bother with AC builds, because they know their targets are always boosting gun skill.

I see
I am not a PvP player actually, so if I go AC Build to PvE is it ok? I think that NPC like supermutants cannot have such high degree of gun skill

Another question about re-rolling a character
The situation is
I have a 24lv character that have 10IN, so his skillpoint is pretty lot
and I want to re-roll him into a 7IN character, so how many SkillPoint this new character will have? Is the skillpoint counts according to 10IN or 7IN?

Yeah 7.

The "Book of Achievment" is a leveling book, not a Skill Point book. If you re-rolled a character with 45 levels, then you get a book with 45 levels, regardless of his Intelligence or Skills. So if you take that level 45 book and use it on an Intelligence 7 guy, that new guy gets 45 levels, and Skill Points based his own stats, not based on the stats of the original character.

If you want to register a character that is optimized specifically for leveling fast and then re-rolling, that works. Many guys are doing this. The leveling build could have IN 6 so you can get Swift Learner, and pick the Loner Trait. These two things each give +10% leveling speed, so you can level a char 20% faster. Then re-roll him as a tank, for example, with IN 1 or 2.

Sorry I have so many questions.

Another question about melee build
The Perk In your face
"Opponents have a 50% chance of missing you when in an adjacent square"

so this 50% is separated from AC counting or not?

for example
assume after the calculation of my AC my opponent have a 50% to hit me
and I have the perk In Your Face
so the result will be 50%+50%=100% missing?
or count separately
so the situation will be, first to count the AC, that assume he actually pass the test and hit me
but then the perk In Your Face comes, he may still have 50% to miss?

A fun question. Since AC is always 0 when standing still, he would have to hit you:

  • with a melee weapon
  • at 1-hex (i think, or 2?)
  • while you're running

I don't see this as something that would happen very often so i doubt you could plan a strategy on it. Not sure.
