I was wondering if this is like fonline 2 and crit chance affect bursts like from gatling? also i am wondering if better crits affect gatling dmg?

Crit chance affects both single and burst mode attacks.
Here crit chance chance is applied for each bullet in burst so you can make partial-crit burst, which will have only some bullets critical but most of them would be normal. If most of bullets are critical then whole burst counts as critical.

Better criticals doesn't give you direct buff to dmg. It gives you bonus to critical roll, and if roll is high you get better dmg multiplier so in a way better dmg. You are also most likely to cause additional effects like knockdown or even knockout (rare but still).

A question about buying vehicles.
I know, noobish question again but I did a search on here and checked the wiki.
Whenever I try to buy a car from the junkyard, the guy who wants a fuel cell controller, he'll only sell me cockroaches.
Not a huge problem 'cause I don't mind them for transporting stuff quickly, but I don't have the option to buy a new vehicle. I can either sell him what I have, or say "I have another fuel cell controller for you" and he immediately sells me another cockroach.

Is the type of car you buy limited to one type per character? Because I took an alt there, driving there, and got the same thing, OR, do I have to sell my last driven car to him first?

You need to ask him for something special. Then you get to chose different vehicles.

Try to stand closer, and/or on different place that you're trying it from currently. Alternatively if you can not open it, go out from the location and switch to different combat type - aka Turn Based or Real Time. And try it in that combat.

It's rather common problem.

Oh yeah he's dead lol. I was also just wondering if a creature or whatever I killed is in the grass how do I click on it? And where is the best place to get lots of junk?

Collecting junk is always one of the slower tasks. It goes about as fast on any city ruins as any other city ruins anywhere on the map. That said, here's what i do to speed it up:

- Use a high AP character, 12 AP minimum maybe even on Jet and +AP armor.
- Have high PE so you can spot junk at longer distances.
- Use Control+G on a junk pile hex to pick them all up at the same time.
- Obviously high Carry Weight is important
- Use a mod that highlights junk on the ground. This might be the most important step.
- Have a drop-off point immediately adjacent to your junk hunting area.

You can ask some of the new players lately - i helped them gather junk for their first base (Outpost) and i was pretty fast.
