hey, I got 2 questions, already posted one few days ago but didin't get an answer.

do tools incease the resource count from dismantling?
wiki doesn't have info about that on any pages related to science, or tools, so I'm guessing no. but I've seen people dismantling items with tools in hand so I wanna make sure.

how to recruit a companion?
I tried to get one recently on an alt, have 0/150 party points, don't have loner trait, but only have level 2. is that the reason?

I tried searching. wiki and forum do not seem to have info about this. any help much appreciated.

Ammount of materials gathered from dissmantling is only boosted by Dismantler support perk.

You need 12 lvl to recruit a companion.

so if I understood correctly, using tools for dismantling helps, but only if your science skill is not already maxed. right?

Oh crap, I confused science with repair skill. What a shame. Nevermind what I wrote earlier (I'll edit the post), don't know why I even thought for a minute it was true.
Tools affect only repair skill, not science skill. They have no affect on gathering resources from dissmantling. Sorry for being confusing!

What is the exact sequence of things that I must do to be able to do the Gunrunner quest (the briefcase one) again and again. Of course if that feature is enabled. Thanks!

I think you need to Return/Fail the Quest then wait a while.
