Just lost all my stuff

I created a base and had brought everything over, put it all on the ground. I told the guy to finish it, didn't realize it loaded a new map, essentially. All my stuff, from all my camps was on the ground, in addition to all my extra resources.

I know there's probably no way to recover it, but I figured I might as well make a post about it, to share my misfortune. I'm more bummed about the gear. I had a bunch of unique items. The rest can more or less be replaced, it'll just take time.

Ugh...

I will admit, I've become a bit used to skimming dialogue, so it's likely I did miss something. I just swear I didn't see any warnings about that.
