I talk to furniture maker and he says that he sells furniture but I don't have dialog option to buy. Do you know the requirements to buy?

I think the game checks if you have caps in inventory and only then lets you see the buy options.

He's called Carpenter, and i know one is in New Adytum, in the first building to the left when u enter the down, underground.
