XP Reward for Player Kills

I think it would be really cool if players were able to earn the same amount of xp a level 24+ character would lose upon death for killing them.

That sounds like a nice idea. That said, how would you handle skills that were already distributed?

if caravan mechanics were not changed than ez pz. You take your level 150-200  character on few runs not to level up. then ypu go to base bare naked and kill him with level 24 char for free xp. And I am like least creative player here, so i guess Seki had something even more "entertaining" in mind

You don't lose levels when you drop below the threshold of the previously earned level.

it was changed this season, now there is some cap until which level it scales depending on route.. btw @devs can we get exact details of how caravans exp works now ?

Spoiler: show

Seki - Last Sunday at 10:16 PM
is exp from caravans still based on level ? just did klamath-den at lvl 45 and got 2500 exp, did same at 46 lvl and same exp
but there was nothing in changelog about caravan exp
Kilgore - Last Sunday at 10:17 PM
yes but there is max value possible (i think depending on route)
is not in changelog because was changed after I wrote it

What about limiting the XP gain to kills made by players from opposing factions during town control attempts only?

i  think nerfing caravan EXP was totally pointless change
it wasnt giving so much exp anyway, now its totally worthless to do it

Sure it didnt need a nerf, high level players getting 100k+ exp per route while being afk 70%+ of time allowing them to do something else on other window for even more efficiency.
I hope your post was meant to be joke..  :facepalm

it doesnt matter because the exp given was based on the lvl of the character and leveling on caravan with e.g lvl 40 and lvl 100 took roughly the same time

being afk is not a good point since your caravan died if u did so, also now caravan leaders are much weaker

it was balanced when caravan encounters were strong and actually hard to do

"facepalm"

-through those early levels (1-100) you get really fast anyways and after lvl 100+ caravans was best by far
-i didnt said completely afk, you can just alttab when you hear encounter sound, kill npc, alttab back and continue what you was doing before until you get another encounter, it requires very little effort for very high scaling reward
-i was doing caravans on my tank last season without single drug or stimpak so they were not hard at all, now its a bit harder since there are no implants and hexing but should be still pretty easy, depends on build and route ofc
