how important is it in real time?
I know about the importance in TB, but what about rt/pvp.
how about AP during rt/pvp?
sorry for noob questions, but the wiki is too new/old.

It have some effect on lower creatures and bandits.... you can test it in desert.... when attacked by rats you have 5 seconds to run or attack before they start THE attack but when attacked by Enclave or some mutants you are killed immediately when map is loaded.
In TB on "lower" creatures it is good because you can shoot first and got first turn  "for free" (sometime if AP is high 10 or more with fast shoot) battle can be finished before it starts.

Mostly it is good for start playing but later it is better to have good armor and good guns and with OUTDOR. and fast run avoid hard encounters. :)

still useless in pvp
in that, you rely on perception of _yourself_, not your character ;)

In TB 90% of the time* you will kill or die in the first round, so it is kind of important.

*the number is totaly made up, based on no data at all.

In tb who shoots first, mostly wins, so I wouldn’t even dare to say it’s useless  :o

Go and test it. You have first turn no matter of sequence if you start shooting.
