Mentats & beer

This may be a bug but im not sure, I cant take companions using mentats and beer. I have 70pp + mentats + beer = 100, but i cant hire them. Ive used ~pp and its says 0/100. Unless its a bug, mentats are crap.

That means i have no companions, mercs, dog, etc...

Maybe try giving away a brahmin if you have one.

try ~disbandparty awayteam ,but only if your positive you dont have a companion somewhere holding a ton of your valuables

If he had one, there would be some PP taken. I guess it's 1CH+brahmin case.

The question is: have u tried it and successfully get the companion?

I dont have any kind of follower (cow, dog, rat, merc, slave, companion, etc..)

You know how they always say not to take pills with alcohol? There should be a chance of critically failing and instantly dying when using mentats and beer together, for logic and roleplaying purposes.
