When attacking enemies on CA you will have 61% crit chance and +16 crit power and making no damage at all. If u were aiming eyes u would have 75% crit chance and +15 crit power (without finesse) and you would also deal damage. Eye shots >> Groin shots. And then arm shots will be only useful against 1 st characters, but you will only have 61% crit chance with ~70% of the critical hits achieving weapon drops, and dont forget u wont almost damage them (bypass crits will be very rare). Tanks with Stonewall have 10st, so weapon drops will be very rare, even more if they have MoS.

IMO, just go for eyes.

This is not a damage dealing sniper, we have plenty of them and do not really need another one.

Weapon drops against 1 ST chars - yes, but I'm also thinking about shooting legs. If you break everyone's legs in a team fight and make everyone doc themselves things might become pretty messed up for the enemy team when fellow snipers shoot them in the eyes. Also, leg crits cripple (and knockdown if no stonewall) starting from 0 roll according to critical table.

Finesse is a different gameplay than damage sniper, but it is very usefull in a team fight. Your build is good, even if I would take another perk instead of hit the gap (which is a flat +5 crit chance, not great). The crit chance Furios gave you are correct in body, but in head it's more like 80%. The crit power is the same as damage sniper, basically just +10 (20 from perk -10 from armor). Finesse doesn't increase crit power, neither it reduces the armor crit power bonus, only crit chance. The bypasses aren't that rare if you know where to aim. If you aim at 1 ST build, go for hands. On stonewalls aim eyes, once the guy is blinded shoot the groin for KO bypass.

Finesse rocks  ;)

Yes, sir Troll, that's more or less what I was thinking about. Break all the legs, shoot arms if 1 ST, blind everyone and then shoot groin. :)
Hit the Gaps gives +5 crit chance AND +5 crit power, doesn't it?

no it doesnt

http://www.fonline-reloaded.net/wiki/index.php?title=Hit_the_Gaps
read note from mojuk
it says "Deducts 50% from base critical CHANCE modifiers of body armor (not counting crafting bonuses)"

Meh. It means HtG is pretty shitty after all. And wiki editing here is pretty shitty aswell :D Would be nice if editors kept mechanics-related pages accurate and up to date...
Thanks for the input gents, looks like I should pick RBTE or MoS or ET instead.

Hmm, imo hit the gap isn't worth taking, you would get a greater advantage from a lifegiver, a man of steel or an even tougher. Your build hasn't bonehead so MOS seems the best choice.
About shooting legs, well, legs almost don't have any rolls, if you crit the guy will fall, unless he is a stonewall. The only target you want to shoot in the legs are MOS tanks (265 hp + RL/gatling most of the time). Since the knockdown chance on a shot (taking into account the crit chance and the roll pass chance) is pretty much the same if you shoot groin or legs, you better shoot groin on other targets. Thus you will deal more damage, more knockouts and more bypasses. You can knock someone out with a leg shot but it's pretty rare. Leg shots should only be used on fleeing targets, at that time the fight is won, but you don't want your loot to run away do you?

Yes but guaranteed cripple on a leg shot crit? Isn't it worth spending 5 APs? The guy docs himself (or asks teammate to do so) or walks through the battlefield in no haste - isn't that awesome? Arm shots cripple only at 71+ crit roll.

Now I realised it's not a guaranteed cripple, it rolls against EN+5. Blind af

No no, I guaranteed a knockdown on leg crit (if no stonewall), the cripple is quite hard to get.

I've seen this similar build work with energy instead SG
I would remove HTG personally, it could work tho
