I can't take the light step perk from children. They just cry, run away and are busy. I have 50% traps. I don't have childkiller perk and I never met any slaver. I have Slightly bad karma (-59) but I guess it doesn't matter. I also add my reputation if it has some impact. I also have good natured perk.

Remove your helmet. I heard metal masks and such scare them.
