The game still works, maybe the server was offline (maintenance or crash) and you couldnt login. However status shows server is online.

« Last post by Acroasis on April 19, 2024, 12:11:35 am »Hello all! I downloaded this as I used to play Fallout Online about a decade ago, and didn't know Reloaded existed! However, I'm wondering if I'm late to the party. I can't seem to be able to play. I type my username and password and it says connecting to server, then says incorrect username or password. I registered a character and used that name and password to play, and got the same error. This site says the server is up and has a couple people online. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

In this thread, players can request their own custom faction names, and otherwise provide names to add more variety to the list. There are already a lot of names available, but if you want a specific name for your new faction, it can be added.
Procedure
* First look through the existing list of available Faction Names. To see the whole list, use this in-game command in a character's chat bar: ~ffn
* The list is more easily reviewed out-of-game, so press F2 to write the output to a txt file in your game directory. If you want to start your faction sooner rather than later, then choose a name from that list.
* If however you're willing to wait a few weeks (or months) for a custom faction name, first use this in-game command to check to see if the name you want is already used: ~factionnames
Again, F2 will write the output to a text file in your game directory.
* If you're sure you want a specific name, and it's not in the above lists, then request the custom name according to the following:
Rules
It's an admin chore to add your custom faction name requests, so here's the deal now offered. Make it easy to do, and we're more likely to do it. Observe these:
* Names need to be under 25 characters long. This includes spaces and apostrophes.
* Use proper case when typing names. ex: Turbo Dudes, not turbo dudes.
* No spelling errors.

* Religious names are more scrutinized, so if they are even slightly offensive, they get skipped.
* No names that troll other names.
* No stupid names. Help us keep the list uncluttered with names nobody really wants.
* No porn-related names, or otherwise disgusting or perverted names.
* Expect admins to skip/ignore names that are judged "under par".

« Last post by SigmaMale on April 01, 2024, 01:43:16 am »I've had an idea of you being able to buy property from a New Reno mob where you can create chems which take materials in and get chems such as mentats, Jet, Rad X, and things of that nature. you'd hire people, do it yourself, or have slaves do the work. You can take and use the drugs for yourself, or sell them back to Reno or anywhere else in the game. You can get the materials from another place you can purchase/find on the map.
Positives: this gives not only more content overall, but a larger experience for those using slaver builds. I would enjoy participating in a chem trade within the game, which could create a larger slave economy. consisting of people purchasing slaves from other players to take in free labor.
Negatives: It's kind of a niche to those in the game. There are more proper ways of making money such as caravans and dungeons. Hiring employees for the business would cost the player currency, slaves are typically restricted to people with slaver builds or individuals gifted/sold slaves.
(I am kinda new to the game. So I understand if I may have lesser knowledge of the game and what it needs as a whole)
