In TLA you could toggle this on and off and it was incredibly useful in nearly every facet of the game.

You guys serious?
Obvious bug is obvious deal with it.

No boost needed. Seriously guys get a grip on common sense.

Jesus Christ. You are potentially one of the dumbest individuals I have ever come across online. Literally every post you have is complete and utter stupidity. You fucking troglodyte, it is amazing that your brain even has the power to maintain vital functions.

The implementation of the code is a bug, not the existence of the code itself. I honestly wish you would die...

Toxic Caves / Repeat Previous Attack Button
« on: September 07, 2013, 08:18:50 am »
In TLA there was a hotkey (spacebar) that repeated your last attack. This made fighting in real time much easier. After TLA, I find myself playing in real time much more often and I miss the convenience of the repeat previous attack button.

Christ no, I'm not that useless whore Jovanka.
And while not every cave has "rare" or "super powerful" loot, the occurrence of some having it seems a bit too high.

Personally I love some of the new outfits and fun stuff. I love rooting through caves to find something unique. But the fact remains, that you can find some really powerful stuff in short order.

1. Facepalm. If you consider something an exploit, you should just stay with sending me PM. But what did you here? Spamming forums + youtube video. This is just stupid.
2. Items from caves might need some chance adjustment, but you probably forgot about mentioning their condition, which is poor most of the time. Also where the fuck do you want to get APA from?
3. Decreasing XP gained from crafting 1-ingredient items is a sure thing to do, should have suggest it without bringing up the drama.
4. Wipe? I hope that was a joke on your side. It's completely not needed.

Btw: if your exp exploit was so huge, then why "The Elder" award is still taken by a dude who doesn't bot?

I'm looking forward to see those PA/APA squads in TC tomorrow..
1. Perhaps a simple PM would have been more appropriate. My apologies for any drama. I am used to dealing with 2238 devs which is an exercise in futility.
2. While the stuff in caves isn't perfect condition, it is still highly functional (93/98 where abouts usually)
3. i'm glad we are in agreement.
4. Maybe a wipe isn't necessary, but a rollback for the 2 days that has been spent wouldn't be unreasonable IMO.
5. "The Elder" isn't awarded to someone who is botting because, why would someone keep doing it after 24? The point is to skip the grind. While a character can get more skill points after 24, the perks is the main reason. I'd wager that in the future a botter will have "The Elder" if just for the title.
6. Enclave armor =/= APA

**correction, Enclave Armor has comparable stats to Brotherhood Armor, maybe even a little lower and looks similar to Combat Armor MKII**

Wipe is a bit radical imho. I can clearly see the advantage of the early cave explorers, however it's not such a big deal in a matter of 1-2 weeks the rest will most likely catch up (although it somewhat hurts to see power armours and such already).

The exp for crafting section, I fully agree with.

Come Friday, the first set of town control begins. When a squad of 10 in PA/Enclave armor claim a town, nobody will be able to contest. It simply spirals down from there.

PA is extra rare, i doubt to see 10 PA gang in next months. Also there is no APA in game

Enclave armor is different than APA. It is similar to brotherhood armor in stats, but better. It looks like Chitin Armor MK2 while equipped from TLA mk2.2

- ARE YOU SERIOUS? 25exp is like rat ammount... I am playing first time in Fonline but crafting in here is really nice thing. Why not? You need at least 50% repair skill and there are more restrictions to craft some its, get prof so far i know, besides -if you wil not take perk at 3th lvl and wai to 6th lvl you will have only one to choose not two, but i can be wrong. I am wrong?

we are talking 25 xp multiple times a second. 50 xp a second, in a minute its 3000xp, in an hour its 180000xp.... I hope it makes sense to you now.

1. I have seen ragging bot users
2. Chance to find rare items is low, also there is no APA in game.

You are missing the point entirely. I am saying that this kind of stuff is wrong. This is why I made the thread. The fact is; that as long as exploiting is possible, it will happen.

Are you too clouded by your smug air of superiority to see that we are in agreement?

I'd like to see Raiders give a bit more xp, so its proportional to their HP pool. As it stands Raiders serve only as an inconvenience. Killing them isn't even worth the 10mm I'd use to do it because the xp is so meager, and the loot is such shit.

Perhaps this is the point however, that raiders be a persistent nuisance to the players.

I just think it would be a bit more fun to gain early levels killing some raiders every now and again, as opposed to dropping molotovs on manti.

Players craft sharpened poles for 24 with a macro for 24 hours and get level 24.

Yeah, I want to see your auto clicker choose perks.. everything taken in consideration it is much, much faster to level up manually. Still experience restriction for basic items could come in handy, because that is nothing compared to what you can do with fibers in base and crafting rope.

within the first 48 hours of the server. The economy is skewed, the balance is broken; any player that missed out will never be able to compete against those who didn't.

Oh please, some rare items that will wind up in player bases as decorations or eventually get used up by fighting are not going to break economy, neither have an impact of the ability to compete. You should be more worried about the cap amount that is distributed by traders, now that affects economy, but it doesn't hurt anybody.

You really have no arguments.
1. "yeah, well you have to check back in to select a perk every few hours. Plus there is more xp to be made exploiting fibers"
There is no need for a retort from me.
2. "A few rare items won't make a difference in 2 weeks"
Come tomorrow when the first set of town control begins you will realize how wrong you are when you try and contest a group in full enclave/PA. It spirals out of control once a faction has taken control of the good towns.

Killgore you have already, with the creation of this server and the implementations of fixes, shown yourself to be a much more competent developer than the entire previous 2238 team.

That being said, there are a few huge issues that have come up and need to be fixed. Especially before the implementation of town control. I will begin explaining these issues in the next few segments:

1. Crafting XP:
Crafting an item should give XP only the first few times. Without this mechanic this happens:

Players craft sharpened poles for 24 with a macro for 24 hours and get level 24. Crafting doesn't need a cool down. Crafting lots of things isn't a problem, but getting thousands of XP in mere minutes from crafting the most basic item in the game is a clear problem.

2. "Rare" Cave Loot:
Caves for the first few days had an extremely high chance of having rare loot. The % of drops has been reduced but the damage is irreparably done. Players should not have inventory like this:
http://puu.sh/4jc1Y.jpg
within the first 48 hours of the server. The economy is skewed, the balance is broken; any player that missed out will never be able to compete against those who didn't.

As you will notice, those images and videos are of me and my friends. This is not a cry about us not having the things, or about others having an advantage. We are not egotistical enough to assume that we were the only ones to discover these problems. The FOnline community has shown time and time again its resilience and tenacity. If we discovered these things the rest assured; MANY OTHERS HAVE. You cannot simply hope that players won't take advantage of the system at hand, well, because that's not the type of community this is....

I want this server to be a success, and with it in the hands of devs that are players, that listen to players, I think it can be. So please Killgore for the game to ever have any longevity you need to WIPE THE SERVER and push the town control function back. We already have everything we could want, and others likely do too. There is not much reason to play anymore besides messing with others.

Thank you
