Tesla helmet is fine. Yes against laser rifle it is very good. That is the point of it. There is no level cap so you can make a sniper that uses sg and ew so you can bring sniper rifle and laser rifle and switch depending on what enemy wears. If you say that is too hard then maybe you shouldnt be making pvp suggestion if you refuse to make a proper pvp build. Anyways it still can get wrecked by plasma or tpr on good crit or fire dmg especially. also you are more easily ko'd.
Imagine an armor that would nerf your avanger/lsw into unplayable shit and you would have to carry gatlings around too,would make perfect sense dont you agree?
Imho with dmg res this strong the helmet itself shouldnt have any crit power mod to even it out.
I don't want to run there any flame war but... do you see people frequently in tesla armor/helmet? If we nerf those, they would be just shit loot as on fo2, and people would just use mamk2/camk2, and tesla would be just science shit tier or to farm enclave. Just two cents from me, don't nerf it, leave it as it is.

Fucked how? You totally missed that you'll be able to wear armors and keep a skin at same time. Both player with and without skin are equal in terms of stats. Maybe people who wants PvP as mutant should pick a role which won't need them to move around map all the time ???

Stats as recompense for being slow in RT & unable to use few weapons + being a big target.
tl;dr RT PvP ape will be happy, PvEr player will be happy, and Roleplayer which wants not just to drink e-beer near barrel will be happy too.

Implent it in kind of achievment unlockable at Mariposa by simply using a FEV container with a little warning. The achievment would add you Super Mutant Skin that cannot be turned down in a barber or any place (so it will avoid abuses), it would add 50 hit points and 5% resists and 1 point of thersold. Of course if you want to turn back to normal you would just do reroll.
Pros:
- Green nice dude instead of mere human
- Roleplay & PvE & PvP activities combined, so he's not weak like "just skin"
Cons:
- Would become TB trap menace and make gap between rt and tb chars even bigger.
- Someone may try to abuse it to get ultimate Human build somehow.

Discuss?

And they don't care and don't want to be involved in PvP activities, whatever those would be.

Those are players whenever you like it or not and they play by they own way, and you cannot force anyone to become PvP wanabee - trough moving workbenches to the towns and other brilliant ideas.

Hinkley is the only place with fair PvP players can get - this is one and enough argument of its existence.

I don't need to say anything else, because it was said thousand of times, PvP players are minority and want to rule the server with their stupid ideas.

During toilet sesson I came up to the idea which may satisfy newbies/low levels, and not enrage other players.

Idea is pretty simple - to the 24 lvl player can choose if he wants to meet other players on encounter or not - this would be to certain extent - of course - limited. If a player chooses he doesn't want to meet other players he would have Most of best-farmable encounters disabled (Bounty Hunters/Unity/BoS/Enclave etc.) and also he wouldn't be able to find Special Encounter - something for something. If he chooses to agree to meet other players nothing changes - it would be like it is now.

Why such idea would be ok? It would help newbies stay in the game quite longer - giving them some time to get along with the game - while after 24 lvl most of people got tons of gear and don't care about dying.

Any arguments against - besides - "no, wasteland should be harsh"?

Sure - put your words on my mouth because I don't see anyone here looking for PvP solution, like the topic says.
I like ur logic - majority of players don't like being involved in PvP - fuck them! They want explore wasteland with friends and be peacefull, and you want to upright the orginal concept of "faction mod" which was a fail, placing center of attention at PvP was and is huge fail, I can't still get why apes are posting such "fuck-logic" suggestions, you don't even know what do you really want.

Here I've got PvP solution for you - create it yourselves - it's by gamers for gamers - organise rules/tournaments etc. - If you can't it's not problem of the server but PvP players.

Reno, Reno will not change it.

1. Remove Hinkley.
2. Remove workbenches from tents, safehouses and bases.
3. Bring back TC windows.
Go Fo2, there is everything u want - there are no workbenches in bases, there are windows and there is no hinkley (BTW I don't know how hinkley is ruining pvp XD).
Kilgore is not stupid to destroy it's own server bcuz apes cry, pvp scroched ur brains so much that you want the opposite of fun - example player is Dark Angel (no flame), who cries on reloaded teamspeak that enemy got xx more ppl, but when he got more it's fun, and didn't realise that PvP on random places/TC wasn't fair after playing this game for over 5 years, PvP scorched and emptied ur brains so much that you PvP apes write such bullshit on forums, I hope Kilgore just adds ppl who write such bollocks to the special ignore list, because it's just making whore from logic.

It was said that TC will get reworked, dunno why ppl put suggestions comming out of their asses along with the shit they make on toilet, stop posting such bollocks.
Excuse me for usage of such strong words but amount of bullshit on suggestions about TC/PvP is ridiculous.
