and as for my pure opinion on FOreload and FOnline 2... I played FO2 a little before I stopped playing both,
I have to say that reloade is MUCH better.
FOnline 2 half the NPC doesn't talk, and just seems much less complete.. I could totally see that this server had much more work into it.

Unfortunately I recently stopped playing neither, but if this server is going to have a wipe and all, I really wish the population will come back to this one.. good job guys..*the developers I mean*

hi.

as a casual player, I'd like to suggest something that emphasize on more faction based pvp.
but with NPC faction, not PLAYER factions..

I (and many others I'm sure) don't have time to make friends in online gaming, and my opinion on reload is that people that belonged to certain player owned factions were very advantageous.

Nothing wrong with that. There will always be favor to players with more time on hand, but my suggestion would be emphasize more on NPC factions..and let there be war (with rewards).

so for example, you join Brotherhood / Enclave factions, and let there be a crusade in certain area, once a week or something on a specific location (with rewards). You don't need to have 10other fallout friends, all you have to be is belong to either faction and just casually participate in the warzone in the right time. (the location should only be available maybe during the war time)

same can be done between Raiders+Slavers+New Reno vs. NCR rangers, etc etc.

this idea is based on an MMO RPG called Helbreath. Cheers.

if ripper already has "penetrate" perk on it, does using "thrust" make any difference at all?

is penetrate and armor piercing separate?

I play a non-tank melee and I seem to be able to kill pancor users most of the time.
On the other hand I have very slim chance against minigun users so I thought they're the most OP but I guess they have their own problems too then..

Kilgore why u want to use warehouse if you can use waterworks. Same nr hafe very nice sewers
Commercial is better for PvP than sewers (which can be still used to move troops and attack from another direction). You're right about Waterworks, though. I'll see if Waterworks can be used for something else (base control?) or if it's better to move that locker there.


I think waterwork can stay the way it is.

It's the best spot to collect chemical components.. now if all base price of drugs are INCREASED,
more people will go to waterwork to collect those chemicals..and place will be more active location.

before I read any of these recent posts, someone followed me too & first time I kicked them out right away.

when it happened the second time I pretended like I didn't know what's happening, and entered a random location right away and got them sucker by surprise instead

1. I saw a almost dead laser turret in Vault City. I thought by killing it I might get some crazy exp.
Result: I killed it, got raped by guards, no EXP gained.


2. I blew up the locked door in adytum, as I saw a stairs beyond it. Blew up the door, went downstairs. I got to a very small room with nothing inside.


3. A locked garage in gordon's gas stations. You can't see what's inside. I blew up the door hoping for a secret loot. Nothing was inside.


4. Found this very rare "heart pills" item that I never seen before. Description says "medicine used to cure someone with heart disease". I used my character that's in New Reno faction, and went talked to Big Jesus Mordino, since he's known to be sick and is always wheezing. I talked to him having the heart pills in inventory, active slot, do "use" command, nothing ever happened.


In case anyone ever wondered about these items & locatioins, now you know not to waste time on these!!

When you log out "WHILE YOU'RE DEAD",
a 60second timer takes place and you can't log back into game.
It applies to your IP address and should prohibit any login attempts through any character/accounts.

Dual log problem easily solved.

Is this hard to implement?
