Is there still no drop?  does any of the older players play, and any fun changes?  good for pve? Good to be back

Loot drop is enabled in 2 locations. Glow and Dayglow.

Me wonder too. I've been to all around the world map and am stuck with certain no brainers. Don't know if it's a bug or the game hasn't been fully fixed yet. The Wiki guides aren't complete. There are areas that still don't activate.

Most of the content is not completed and still work in progress for ages.

For example, the ship at way end north San Francisco?

Never heard of ship was used for something else than visiting vendors.

Apart of that, the BOS (Brotherhood Of Steel) hq...

However, it's coming to my reach of end just spending about 2 months??! I haven't been able to get my hands on a combat armor YET!

You do something wrong.

Now that i see there are few oth servers than Reloaded, I'll jump into Fonline 3 and see how that goes.

Most of them are pvp servers. Reloaded is far easier and more pve oriented. Less grinding here.

Item highlighter:
Edit Reloaded.cfg to switch it on.

In [Reloaded] section:
ShowItemContours=7 - set the item contours for pickable items, containers and misc items, combination in range from 0 (none) to 7 (for containers and misc items)

    Available combinations:
        0: All off
        1: Mark pickable items only.
        2: Mark pickable items and containers.
        3: Mark all.
        4: Mark pickable and misc items.
        5: Mark containers only.
        6: Mark misc items only.
        7: Mark containers and misc items.
      
ItemContourColors=128 255 128 - contour colors for pickable items in RGB format, accepts three values (0-255)
ContainerContourColors=128 0 255 - contour colors for containers in RGB format, accepts three values (0-255)
MiscContourColors=255 128 255 - contour colors for misc items in RGB format, accepts three values (0-255)

In [Bindings] section:
ShowItemContours=Y - switch combinations of item marks by contours

Bugs / Performance drop when item highlighter is on

Switching on built-in item highlighter makes huge fps drop. Not seen similar behaviour when using highlighter mod. Pulsing contours may be issue.
