Survival Guides / Advice on Close Combat build
« on: September 11, 2016, 07:36:36 pm »
I want to play a CC build for role-play/pve

Most of the guides I see are a couple years old so I'm not sure if they are outdated. Should I go the crippler route or just straight damage? Also is it necessary to take Sneak?

Game Help / Marshal and the boneyard perk
« on: September 03, 2016, 05:11:00 am »
I talk to Marshal and he asks me what skills I would like to learn. I click on my selected weapon preference and then he says to get more skill and come back later. I do not see the Boneyard Guard as a perk. What am I doing wrong?

Survival Guides / Returning player got some questions
« on: August 31, 2016, 05:30:13 am »
It's been a few. Played 2238/FO2/Reloaded

I have always been a solo player (for the most part) and I prefer TB over RT. Is this a TB friendly server?

Also, Are the weapons balanced on this server. I remember it was always BG and nothing else. Are SG's good in TB?

Is this server gonna WIPE anytime "soon"? I would hate to put in a bunch of effort, then see it all disappear.

This keeps happening to me when ever I try to log onto IRC. Is this happening to anyone else?

Closed suggestions / Outdoors skill and death

The one thing I liked about the original Fallout games was that if your OD was too low there was a chance that you could die in the wasteland. I don't know why FOnline removed that from the system. It makes sense to have it though, your character can get lost, die from hunger/dehydration etc.

Another possible route -
Maybe incorporate food/water canteens/bags. If you have those equipped it adds to your survivability rate. Now (I'm not talking about turning FOnline into the Fallout SIMS) but those items are in the game and they seem practically useless, lets find a way to make them useful. The lower the OD the more you need these items. The higher your OD the less you need these items.

It would be nice to see that OD actually means something other than avoiding encounters.

Low OD = higher chance of Death in the wasteland.
